Obituary of Carol A. deKalands
Carol deKalands, age 85, of Flint passed away on July 8, 2019. Carol was born July 3, 1934 in Flint to Stanley J. and Martha (Sullivan) Norrington. She married Jean G. deKalands on July 30, 1965 and had three children. She was a faithful member of Grace Presbyterian Church, a member of the Flint Genealogical Society, and the Genesee Chapter of the DAR. She enjoyed volunteering at the Flint Public Library assisting patrons with their genealogy questions.
Carol is preceded in death by husband, Jean G. deKalands, son, Gerald G. deKalands, brother Patrick Flinn, brother Timothy B. Flinn, and sister, Catherine Sen.
She is survived by daughter Teresa (deKalands) Higgins, son-in-law Tim Higgins and daughter Marta deKalands.
