Obituary of Ned C. Bryant

Bryant, Ned C. Jr. Essexville, Michigan Mr. Bryant, age 73, died on Thursday August 8, 2019 after a long illness at Toni and Trish House. Ned was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 10, 1945 to the late Ned Sr. and Elinor (Alderton) Bryant. Ned married the former Diane Wynne on December 27, 1969. Ned retired from Delphi in 2002 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Essexville, and a member of Knights of Columbus Father VanRooy Council #2740. He served on the Funeral Luncheon Committee at St. Jude's and also was a counter at the church. Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife Diane, their children; son Adam Bryant of Edinburg, TX and his children; 1st Lieutenant Travis Bryant of Hawaii, Chelsea Bocardo of Elk Rapids, Audrey Bryant and Meah Bryant of Edinburg, TX, daughter Amy (Chris) Lopez of Essexville and her children; Kaitlyn, Emma and Jackson Leinberger, and Drake Lopez all of Essexville. Also surviving are 2 great grandchildren; Mio and Sophia Bocardo, his sister Gail (BJ) Schwartz of Bay City, sisters in law Jeanne Ann Walkowiak of Essexville, and Ashley Wynne of Essexville and many nieces, nephews, and cousins survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Ned and Elinor, father and mother in law Claude and Rita Wynne, and brothers in law Claude "Bud" Wynne, and Mark Walkowiak. A mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 614 Pine, Essexville. Father Dale Orlik will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass.
