Obituary of Sharon L. Wirth
Sharon Lee Wirth (Reinhardt) born May 25th, 1939 of Saginaw, Michigan passed away at home into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on August 12th, 2019. Sharon was the daughter of the late Bob Reinhardt and Nina (Hill) Schian. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School and later attended MSU where she completed her teaching degree in San Diego, California. Sharon taught off and on over the years, and had a love for teaching. Through that love she touched many students' lives. Sharon even helped Melanie while she was home-schooling her own daughter. Her life's pride was being home and raising her children.
Sharon loved being a mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and decorator, and also loved gardening, especially salmon colored geraniums. She enjoyed reading and exploring on her new iPad (she named it smarty pants), playing Upwords, cards, and other games (which she hated to lose). She loved old movies and was like a sponge when it came to learning. She had a bright red Jitterbug phone which she would recommend to anybody. She loved the years she camped with her family and going to Larry's Market for Italian sausage with her daughter, Beth. Some other activities she liked were coloring pictures, visiting friends, having dinner parties, and making meals for her children and grandchildren. Christmas Eve was always her favorite time with her family. Sharon was a beautiful piano player and we would sing Christmas carols. When the children were little they loved to dance to her music. She loved giving and receiving gifts. Her love language was getting gifts, no matter how large or small. Sharon was also very proud to show off her new Cajun-red Equinox, which she named Sassy. Sharon was silly, lighthearted, loving, dignified, fun, and could also be all business. She is survived by her two daughters Melanie (Ted) Thiel of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and Bethany Juras of Saginaw, Michigan, and her grandchildren Jennifer (Josh) Koons of Tennessee, Staci Jo (Cooper) Hardin of Tennessee, and Nicholas Juras of Michigan. She is also survived by her first, soon to be born great-grandchild, Landry Wade Hardin (whom she was over the moon excited about). Also surviving her are two siblings John Sauve and Pat Dundas, brother-in-law Dennis White, and many more members of her extended family as well as her dear friends Sue, Janet, Bob and Nancy, and her loving cat and buddy, Oakie. Sharon was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynn Suzanne Wirth as well as siblings Roger Henninger, Mike Henninger, Karen Sauve, Nina Seeley, Rosemary Smits and many, many pets. Sharon's wishes were for a private memorial. Cremation has taken place and she will be buried next to her daughter, Lynn at a later time. Those wishing to show an expression of sympathy are asked to consider making a donation to Camp Fish Tales in Pinconning, Michigan. We thank God for her commitment, dedication, and her love for us all. Sharon also knew how loved and cared for she was from all her family and friends. Although we will miss her greatly, we can smile today because she is in heaven with the Lord and her precious daughter, Lynn, whom she lost at 4 years old. She would often recite The Lord's Prayer, which brought her comfort and hope. Please keep her family in your prayers.
