Mark (Mad Dog) Delpier, Born on October 4th, 1952 began his journey to heaven on Sept. 15, 2019 after living 66 years to their fullest. Mark is loved and missed by his wife, Anne, his son, John, his granddaughter, Chloe Nolan, his mother, Marie, his brother, Larry and his sister in law, Judy, his nephews, Guy, Dean and Darrin, his niece, Darcy, his brother in law, Thomas Milko, and his Goddaughter, Nicole Forrester. He is also loved and missed by many friends that he held close and cherished especially Robert (Red Bone) Fowler and his daughter, Jackie. Mark also loved his animal friends and leaves behind his cats Ozzie, Toby, Feona and the horse he and his wife shared, Mazey. Awaiting him in heaven are his father, Alfred, his niece, Christine, his uncle, John Barnes and his Uncle Bill Adams. Mark joined the Navy in November, 1972 and proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War. He continued to love his country and his brothers and sisters in arms. He believed in the right to bear arms and was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association. His father taught him to hunt as soon as he was old enough to shoulder a gun. The memories of hunting at the cabin on Sand Lake with his dad, brother, nephews, uncle and friends were memories he never tired of sharing. Mad Dog loved his Harley and his 1973 Nova. He was outspoken and did things in his own unconventional way. He was an amazing woodworker and at one time built most of the tables, shelves and cabinets that were in the house we lived in in Waterford. He also worked with leather and made sheaths for knives and axes that some family and friends now have to remember him by. He loved music and had many songs that he felt had a special meaning for him or the people in his life. Services will be Thursday, Sept. 26 at St Frances X.
