Helen Jacqueline (Poston) Siebenaller March 22, 1935 - November 12, 2019 Jackie Siebenaller of Naples, Florida died on November 12, 2019 at her daughter's home in Michigan. She was a woman who exemplified the characteristics of honesty and integrity. She was kind, polite, and giving. She displayed quiet strength and determination. Born March 22, 1935 in Staunton, Virginia, the youngest child of William C. Poston and Minnie Mrytle Grow Poston. She attended high school in Appomattox and Luray, VA. She graduated from Luray High School in 1953. At James Madison College, she was a member of Theta Sigma Upsilon Sorority. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1957. She moved to Detroit to complete her internship in Dietetics at Henry Ford Hospital. Jackie married the love of her life, Richard R. Siebenaller, on August 16, 1958. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Together, they traveled the world. He predeceased her September 16, 2010. Jackie's career as a dietitian included working at Henry Ford Hospital, as a nursing home consultant in the Detroit area, and Food Service Director at Botsford Hospital, Farmington Hills, MI, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, and for the State of Michigan. In Naples, Jackie enjoyed her many dear friends. She walked daily and swam in her pool & the ocean. She loved gardening and was an unassuming "friendly" card player. Jackie had a late life romance with Bill Rusert. They went dancing weekly until her health failed. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution: Anne Frisby Fitzhugh-Saginaw and Big Cypress Chapters, the Collier County Genealogy Society and the Island Walk Architectural & Landscape Design Committee. She is survived by her daughter, Susan M. (Scott) Janke and beloved grandson, Kyle R. Janke; son, Robert S. Siebenaller and adored granddaughter of the heart, Emma Harris; along with many friends and family. Her two brothers predeceased her, William C. Poston and Robert S. Poston. We appreciate the loving care she received from Faith Culler, Sara Cobb, Jenna Gwizdala and Kelly Parks. Please join us to remember our sweet, Southern lady and celebrate her life, November 23, 2019 between 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Janke home, 1468 Seena Court, Essexville, MI.
