Potts, Shannon A. Bay City, MI Shannon, age 49, passed away at Brian's House on Friday, December 13, 2019 with her family at her side. She was born in Bay City Michigan on May 31, 1970 to Michael and Suzanne (Roybal) Nielson. She loved to cook and make dream catchers. She is survived by her husband, James Potts; her 5 children, Bryan Eschenbacher and fiancé Savanah Tompkins of Caro MI, Caitlin Potts of Bay City MI, James (Tara) Potts of Essexville MI, Stephanie (Mike) Evans of Bay City MI, and Michelle (John) Headings of Bay City MI; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Gavin, Austin, and Aryanna; her mother, Suzanne (Paul) DeLaforet of Owosso MI; 6 brothers, Brad (Rhonda) Nielson of Fenton MI, Sean Dorry of Bay City MI, Blaine (Crystal) Nielson of Bay City MI, Brent Nielson of Bay City MI, Shane (Heather) Nielson of Bay City MI, Jesse (Danielle) Broom of Jacksonville FL. She was predeceased by her father and step mother, Michael and Joanne Nielson. A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 6 P.M. at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, MI. Bishop Larry Camel will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2-6 P.M.
