Obituary of John A. Robbins

Robbins, John Frankenmuth Twp., MI Our beloved John passed away on December 18, 2019 at the age of 67 years. He was born on December 31, 1951 to the late Frank and Annabelle Robbins in Saginaw, MI. He is survived by spouse Renae (Vogel) Robbins; children, Nicole (Mitch) English, David (April) Robbins and Arielle (Kevin) Wise; and ten grandchildren, Ava Valdez, Wyatt, Finn, Maverick, and Gannon English, Zoee, Thor, John III, and Colt Robbins, and Tyrion Wise. Also surviving are his sisters and brother, his Vogel family sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. A celebration of John's life will take place at his home on his birthday at 3pm. Everyone is welcome. Please prepare a 'John' anecdote and/or bring a special picture. John married Renae Vogel on October 5, 1973. He wrote 'to my beautiful wife' on every card he gave her for the 46 years they were married. That's a lot of cards. John was loved as the dearest, kindest, there for everyone, and most hard working man to anyone that knew him. He loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally. He loved the outdoors, his garden, his koi pond, his fire pit, and his he shed. He could construct anything in a house from top to bottom, inside and out, and did so for his family and many other people. John was a master of corny jokes: Q: Do you know how many people are buried in that cemetery? A: All of them. He always laughed the loudest at his own jokes, even after the umpteenth time he told them, and that always made his listeners laugh. As he said shortly before his passing, "I've had a wonderful life." His friends and family have had a wonderful life because he was in it.
