Obituary of Dorothy C. Warns
Warns, Dorothy C.
Coleman, MI
Dorothy went home to be with the Lord January 24, 2020 at the age of 94. She was born December 5, 1925, and was adopted by the late Reginald and Mable Rogerson. On September 17, 1948 she was united in marriage to Robert R. Warns. Dorothy along with her husband, volunteered their time and talents at their church, The Food Center, the local Senior Center, and with our Veterans. This Proverbs 31 woman took every opportunity to serve people and care for others wherever she was able. She loved the Lord so much, and through His Love and Grace, she loved her family and everyone she met so incredibly. She had an optimism on life, along with a peace, a joy, and a beaming smile on display every day! Her life was truly an example to all who knew her, to live and love like Jesus. We will miss her dearly, but knowing she is with Jesus and her husband now in heaven, fills our heart with joy! Her incredible legacy and heart, to love, serve others, and faith in Christ lives on through her family and all those she touched so deeply.
She is survived by four daughters, Cathy (Fred) Pfeiffer of Protem, MO, Connie (Paul) Molthan of Frankfort, IL, Carol (Jeff) Liedtke of Tinley Park, IL, Diane (Terry) Diamond of Coleman, MI; three sons, Robert R. (Judy) Warns II of Boise, ID, Richard (Chris)Warns of Strongsville, OH, Paul (Ellen) Warns of Avon Lake, OH; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert R. Warns.
