Obituary of Robert "Bob" E. Yare

Yare Robert (Bob) E. Saginaw, Michigan Mr. Yare, age 89, passed away on January 28, 2020. Robert was born October 2nd, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late William (Bill) and Edith Yare. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1949 to 1952. He was a member of the UAW and American Legion Post #22. Bob worked and retired from General Motors for over 3 decades. He enjoyed all outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping and going to yard sales. He also enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, reading western novels, karaoke and NASCAR. He loved to eat perch, HOT soup and butter tarts. Bob is survived by his wife Sarah Yare, his children Bobby, (Debbie) Yare, Brian, (Jane) Yare and stepson Charles (Brenda) Curtis and Shelia who was more than a niece. Also surviving are grandchildren; Daniel (Nicole), Andrew, Michael (Aminata) and Samantha, great grandchildren, Noah, Natale, Meredith, Zendayah and Zayden and his sister in law Helen Fear. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Yare. We will say Goodbye to Bob at a celebration of his wonderful life that will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday February 29, 2020 at the American Legion Post #22, 2200 S. Niagara Street, Saginaw, Michigan . He wanted a party! He will be interned at the Great Lakes National Cemetery with Military Honors on Monday March 2nd 2020 at 1 pm.
