Obituary of Mary J. Goodrich

Mary J. Goodrich 7/7/1927 – 2/22/2020 Mary Jane Goodrich passed away peacefully on the 22nd of February 2020 at Brittany Manor in Midland Michigan. Mary was born in Saginaw Michigan to parents William and Bertha (Wahl) Hodgson on July 7th, 1927. Mary had resided in Saginaw most of her life moving to Freeland Michigan and later Midland Michigan. She retired from General Motors in 1995 and was a member of the Freeland United Methodist Church. Cherishing her memory are two daughters Penny (Duane) Schneider, and Vicky (Dale) Flora. Mary also leaves nine grandchildren Toni (Ronnie) Parker, Kelly Hervert and Caelin Hervert. Shannon (Robert) Zariski, Dustin (Nikki) Marolf, Jason Flora, Aaron (Alicia) Marolf, Jonathan Flora and Sarah Flora. Also fourteen great-grandchildren as well as eight great-great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are one brother John (Pat) Hodgson and a sister Marian Pippert. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and Sister Rose Marie Niswander. Per her wishes Mary has been cremated, and a memorial service to be held at Freeland United Methodist Church presided over by Pastor Kayla Roosa on Friday February 28th, 2020 at 4:00PM. Mary's family would like to thank MidMichigan Home Health & Hospice and the nursing staff at Brittany Manor for her wonderful care.
