Obituary of Thomas L. Kasper
Thomas L. Kasper passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the age of
86. Tom was born in Bay City Michigan on September 30, 1933 to
Lawrence and Harriet "Alice" Kasper. Tom served with the United States Army. He became a parks Department employee in 1951 and retired after 43 years of service
as the Director of the Bay City Electric Light and Power.
Surviving are his children, Cheryl (Ed) Crandell, Sandra (Jeff) Wilson,
Shirley LaPrairie, Wendy (Paul ) Windquist, Esther Ryczek, Thomas
Kasper Jr, Timothy (Gretchen) Kasper, and Lynde Thomas; his dear friend, Linda Sequin; sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren with an nineteenth due in September.
Tom was predeceased by his wife Gerlinde "Linde" Kasper; son-in-law,
James LaPrairie; and grandchildren, Sarah and Thomas Cody Kasper.
Cremation has taken place, and per Tom's request, no service will
