Linda, age 72, passed away on Saturday March 7, 2020 at home. Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on May 25, 1947 to the late Robert and Shirley (Sachs) DeLand. Linda married Robert A. Swackhamer in June of 1968. Mrs. Swackhamer is survived by her husband Robert, and their son Ryan. Also surviving are her sister and 2 brothers, Janice Guran , Terry DeLand, and Mike DeLand; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who all adored her. Cremation has taken place and no service is planned per her request. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Wellspring Lutheran Services or American Cancer Society.
