Obituary of Joseph H. Squire

Joseph Henry Squire, age 77, was called to Heaven March 1st. He was born on June 7, 1942, to Henry Joseph and Avis M (Hicks) Squire. He lived and grew up in Troy, Michigan, until moving to Sandusky in 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley (Essy) Schmahl of CA; and brother-in-law, Dennis Timmons of KY. At age 18, Joe was seriously injured in an automobile accident with his grandmother, and his future was changed forever. Joe loved being around people, making trips to local restaurants, and listening to and sharing good music with others. The family would like to thank everyone who had been so kind over the years to Joe, this was his' world and made him so happy. His gentleness, non-judgmental attitude, kind heart and sense of humor will be missed by his loving family, caring friends and acquaintances. Joe is survived by: sister, Betty Timmons of KY; brother, Albert (Karen) Squire of Sandusky; brother-in-law, Robert Schmahl of CA; nieces, Laura (Doug) Blaul and Brenda(James) Yanoschik of CA; Julianne (Todd) Cowley of Sandusky; and Robin Timmons of KY; nephews, Michael (Claudia) Squire of KY; Marc (Maricel) Squire of Livonia; and Aaron (Elyse) Timmons of KY; and several great nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will take place in Troy, Michigan, at White Chapel Cemetery in late spring
