Obituary of Georgina T. Latour

Georgina T. Latour 6/27/42-3/14/2020 Bay City Michigan, beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer with her family by her side. She was born in Bay City Michigan June 23rd, 1942 to Miles and Marge Hartley. She graduated from Bay City Handy in 1960 which after she moved to California where she lived until she returned to Bay City in 1983. Her favorite pastime was to travel. She enjoyed many great adventures with her friends and family traveling around the world which included her favorite place of Paris. Gina loved life and enjoyed watching and attending all her grandchildren's sporting events which included hockey, basketball, track and football. The other things close to her heart were spending time with her sister, skyping on her iPad, lunches with the Golden Girls and planning her next trip. She is survived by her sister Joy Hurley; daughter Courtney (Norm) Kolatski and son Steve (Rhonda) Latour; grandchildren Dale, Erika, Darrin (Kaylee) and Sierra; great-grandchildren Brody and Beau; nephews Scott and Craig; great nieces and nephews Stephanie, Bo, Josh, Miles, Maggie; her extended family and many loving friends. She is preceded by her parents Marge and Miles, Stepdad Cole, brother Timothy and son Michael. At Gina's request cremation has taken place. Due to current health considerations and guidelines a private family service with be held. In lieu of flowers a better choice for honoring Gina includes 1) donate to your favorite charity 2) practice a random act of kindness, and 3) travel somewhere you never have been.
