Obituary of Maryjo Smith
Maryjo Smith of Prescott, passed away April 3, 2020, after a lengthy battle with leukemia. She was born to Lloyd and Barbara (Wagner) Brief on May 9, 1969, in Saginaw, Michigan and graduated from Whittemore-Prescott High School in 1988.
Maryjo worked as a home health aide for many years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Johnny. Maryjo had a warm smile and a huge heart. Her friends and family recall her infectious laugh and great sense of humor. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, camping, tubing, going for pontoon rides, and doing ceramics.
Maryjo is survived by her loving sons, John and Joshua Smith; grandson, Johnny Smith; parents, Lloyd and Barb Brief; sisters, Julie Krugielki and Dana (Mark) Carsten; brother, John (Wava) Fischer; and many nieces and nephews. Maryjo was predeceased by a brother Robert Fischer; grandparents, John and Wilma (Houghteling) Wagner and Clair and Orlena (Nowland) Brief.
