Passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 85. He was born on October 27, 1934 to the late Walter and Victoria Orzel, in Detroit, Michigan.
He was a member of Tuscola County Conservation Club, Gateway Conservation Club, and St. Christopher Parish in Caro. He enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, reading, watching sports, woodworking, and taking care of his granddaughter, Sara.
He is survived by wife, Geraldine Orzel; son, Anthony Orzel; grandchildren, Daniel (Paige) Brusati, Elizabeth (Jesse) Merrick, Eric Brusati, Jamie (Megan) Koss, Sara Orzel; great-grandchildren, Noah, Colten, Saydee, Savanah, Andrew, Kaden, Brailee, Brisyn and Ellenore; siblings, Joan (Dave) Cowell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Orzel; son, Patrick Orzel; brother, Thomas Orzel; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Orzel.
