Obituary of Ronald Anthony Martin

Martin, Ronald Anthony Zilwaukee, Michigan Ron age 76 passed away April 27, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare. Ron was born July 18,1943 in Saginaw Michigan to the late Lee and Irene (Joseph) Martin. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He married Donna (Sieb) Martin, his loving wife of 58 years, on September 29,1962, and she survives him. He was employed at General Motors until his retirement. He volunteered for the City of Zilwaukee Fire Department, was a member of the Lions Club and Carrollton Eagles Club. Ron spent his spare time doing what he loved: fishing, hunting, camping, spending time at their cabin. He especially enjoyed his family time with his children, grandchildren and gatherings with siblings and extended family and friends. Surviving besides his wife Donna are two daughters and one son, Ronda (Tom) Wedding, Kim (Scott) Sproull, Mike (Tara) Martin; grandchildren, Nicole Browning, Kayla (Chris) Rizer, Stacy Stanton, Kyle Sproull, Dan (Rachael) Sproull, Emilie Martin, Chad Martin, Cole Martin; great-grandchildren, Tyler Stanton, Jack and Liberty Browning, Sophia and William Seals; siblings, Gary Martin, Maggie (Robert) Poineau, many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends. He was predeceased by his brother Edward Martin and sister-in-law, Marlene Martin. Honoring Ron's wishes, he had been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ron's family wishes are to thank his granddaughter Nicole for her love and care for him during this world health crisis.
