Obituary of Frederick A. Laskey

Frederick Allen Laskey Born January 27, 1937 On Thursday May 7, 2020, Fred Laskey, with his family by his side, went home to the lord. He was a devoted husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather. Fred was the son of Ellen and Robert Laskey. On August 25, 1956, he married the love of his life, Patricia Kozlowski. He worked at The Bay City Times until 1966, when he took over as the co-owner of Lambert Printing Company until 1999. He was an active member of Visitation Church, St Vincent DePaul, The Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts and was a favorite of many as a little league coach. Fred completely loved life and loved to volunteer and help others. He and was an active member of many clubs around the city. He also enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family and his many friends. Fred is survived by his wife Patricia, 3 children - Jean (John) Landosky, Bruce (Colleen) Laskey, Scott (Sue) Laskey. 8 grand Children, 6 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. Two that were especially close to Fred was his two nieces, Karen and Kim and their family. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Douglas who passed in 1961, His mother and father in law - Marge and Larry Kozlowski, His brother and sister in law Ronald and Barbara Berg, along with two brothers and one sister. In keeping with Fred's wishes, cremation will take place, but no service will be planned.
