Obituary of Amy Parker

Amy, age 50, of Bay Port, MI, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2020. She was born in Flint to Rita and Ronald George on October 25, 1969. Amy was a homemaker, enjoying any and all time spent with her loved ones and close friends. As an avid gardener, she took pride in her flower beds. Working in them brought her joy. The only thing that brought her more joy than her flower beds, was her grandchildren. Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Rita; step-daughter, Deann; and her beloved husband, James Parker. She is survived by many family members, her daughters, Shannon (Michael) Coltson of Marlette, Megan (Erin) Quinn of Plymouth, and Alysyn (Ryan) Stanton of Elkton; her father, Ronald George of Marlette; sister, Victoria (Tim) Sparkes of Sebewaing; seven grandchildren; and two nephews. Amy was a beautiful soul that touched many lives. She will be missed and honored every day.
