Obituary of Russell L. Johnson

Johnson, Russell L. D.D.S. 3/14/22 – 6/9/20 At 98 years old, our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle walked into the arms of Jesus on June 9, 2020. Russ was devoted to his family and his greatest concerns were for all of us. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie after 73 years of marriage and his brother Robert E. Johnson of Seattle WA. He is survived by his four children, Janice Strong (David), Judy Johnson, Jim Johnson (Mary Ellen) and Jon Johnson (Sandi); his grandchildren, Melissa Strong, Rebecca Prast, Matthew Johnson and Mark Johnson; and great grandchildren, Carly Prast, Lincoln Johnson and Ada Johnson. Russ was a graduate of the University of Michigan dental school and he practiced dentistry into his 80's. He loved to hunt, fish and play cards. He has been a member of Mid Forest Lodge since 1955. Russ was a devoted Christian, a member of the Presbyterian church and a bible study student until his death. Due to the virus, a private memorial service is being planned.
