Obituary of Carla M. Clayton

Clayton, Carla Saginaw, MI Carla, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away June 11, 2020 at the age of 85. She was born November 4, 1934 to Phillip and Alyce Masker of Saginaw MI. Carla was an active baptized member of Jehovah's Witnesses for 48 years. She enjoyed volunteering her time teaching people bible truths, devoting 70 or more hours each month to this ministry work, telling others about her beliefs right up to her death. She also enjoyed dancing, reading, camping, sewing, cake decorating, working in their bait and tackle shop, as well as running her own upholstery business. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren - playing board games, cards, and just talking and laughing with them. She was a loving, kind, generous, compassionate person, who contributed to the joy of others around her. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leo H. Clayton of Saginaw MI; her children, Lori Klim of Saginaw MI, Ronda (Joel) Schmeichel of Freeland MI, Myra O'Connor of Saginaw MI, Amy Clayton of Saginaw MI, Leo (Tammy) Clayton Jr. of Beaverton, David (Debbie) Clayton of Saginaw MI; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip, Edward, & William Masker; and 1 great-grandson, Alexander Myles Reid Clayton.
