Karen, we met many moons ago in the early 80s. We sure had some good times and only needed to follow the campfire to find you. Our paths crossed many times over the years and I had the pleasure of meeting your family. I would have loved spending a winter in Arizona near you but circumstances did not oblige. RIP my friend and watch over the family during this sad time. Love, Lynn Stiehl

Karen was one in a million. She fought hard. Her strength was phenomenal. I will always remember the pot lucks and nightly Arizona fires in the grand fire pit. Many nights she sat with her poncho and UGG boots. Everyone was her friend. You never who she would invite to the potlucks and at the firepit, to introduce them. She embraced life. Now she will make many new friends in heaven and join family and friends who has welcomed her home. RIP. Heartfelt Sympathy to Ron and the whole family. God Bless to all.

Karen's Dad and my Dad were great friends on the AZ desert I, met her there. We knew we would officially be the 'Second Generation'! We were very proud of that! We called each other sisters from a different mother. She was known to all of us as the cruise detector and we did do some crazy things. She was willing to help anyone with everything thing! I'll miss her so much, her smile, her Michigan accent, the chuckled and the sparkle in her eye. Praying for Ron Amy and family, Steve and family. She was so proud of you all. Rest In Peace my sister from another Mother.

My kid and I will miss her so much. Every year at Christmas we would see her. Karen call her self the bad Grandma. She would try to get the boys to go in doors at mexico. That lead to the dancers... The boy would chuckle and say no. Karen would tell them oh come on live a little. I truly love her a d think of her as family not just a friend. She will be forever missed and loved.
