Richard passed away June 24, 2020 at home with family. He was born in Saginaw Michigan May 16, 1928 to the late Clyde E. & Beatrice E. (Trumble) Young.
He was a member of the Saginaw Masonic Lodge and served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, and in later life - golf. He owned Young's Gun and Ammo, and retired from Malleable Iron after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Carl) Turner; grandchildren, Carl (Trudi) Turner, Paul Turner; great-grandchildren, Ariana Turner and Andrew Harper; siblings, Thelmar (Judy) Young of PA, William (Rose) Young of PA, Janet (Bing) Shaw of PA; sister-in-law, Buttons Young of PA; siblings, Jim (Marilyn) Young of Caro MI, and Nody (Barry) Tingley of FL; a son Richard; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy (Proctor) Young; a brother, Clyde "Doc" Young; a sister, Irene Phillips; a son, James; and grandchildren, Dessa and Michael Turner.
