Obituary of Ronald R. Beller

Beller, Ronald R Sr. Frankenmuth, MI Ronald R. Beller passed away on his 81st birthday. He was born on July 10, 1939 to the late Adam Beller and Dorothy (Buchta) in Detroit, MI. Ron graduated from Thurston High School in the first graduating class in 1957 where he excelled in football and baseball. He retired from General Motors, achieving the rank of Lieutenant in Plant Security. He was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening- especially his hostas. He was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers and also played football on a scholarship at the University of Wyoming. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judith Beller (Niemi). He is survived by his sons, Ronald II, Michael (Angelica), Gregory (Louise), Adam (Sandra), and Eric (Maria); grandchildren, Ryan (Christina), Sarah, Michael (Arica), Samantha (Charles), Nicholas, Andrew, Cassandra, Shauna (Ronald), Heidi, Hannah, Adalee, Aaron, Derrick, Rebekah, Jake, Kai, and Chloe; ten great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Gabriel, Cameron, Serena, Zachary, James, Haley, Brooklyn, Michael, Callie; many nieces and nephews; his godchildren, DJ and Jay; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Donald Goddard); and his loving dog Lulu. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Dorothy Beller; sister, Linda Donaldson; grandson, Ronald Beller III; daughter-in-law, Susan Beller; father-in-law, Sulo Niemi; mother-in-law, Elsie Niemi; and his dog Wally. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the St. Lorenz Foundation Vicar Fund. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held for the family at a future date.
