Obituary of Linda Ruth Gray
Linda Ruth Gray passed away on July 4, 2020. She passed away where she always wanted to, at home, with her sister & brother in-law by her side.
Linda was born in Flint, Michigan, December 6, 1949 to Paul & Jean Graham and had ten siblings. Linda worked at Covenant Hospital from 1996 until she retired in 2017. She was awarded the Covenant 'Heart of Gold' three times throughout her career for her outstanding work ethic. Linda was strong in her faith and we are comforted knowing she is Home and at peace. Her light will live on in the hearts of many that knew her.
She is survived by siblings, Timothy Graham (Sue), Dinah Verdier, Mike Graham, Carl Ladd (Pok), Patricia Wells, Starr Dorn (Chris), Pamela Zawacki Kirkwood, Nancy Larie (Bruce), Kim Bullock (Mark), and special friend Regina Stanton. She was very close to many of her nieces and nephews and was considered their 2nd mother, Starr, Kelly, Penny, Patty, Paula, Angel and Bill. She was predeceased by husbands Willie Gray and life partner Lyndon Johnson, and Paul Wise in 2019.
We wish to give a very special thank you to First State Home Health and Hospice. Their remarkable nurses and staff and the support they gave the family will always be remembered and is very appreciated. Her wishes were for no funeral and to be cremated. A celebration of her life will take place at her home in Saginaw on July 18, 2020.
