Dave and Cindy, Luann, & Diane,
You have lost a very Special Brother. He was one of the most loving person, he was always one of the best. He would do anything for anybody. He didn't deserve this to happen to him. He always had a smile on his face when we saw him. Danny, rest in peace now and forever. It's to bad he had to go this way. I wish he would have found out about the Mental Health a little sooner. But, Danny we will always love you. With all our Love and Prayers to you, Dave & Cindy, Luann & Diane. Uncle Joe & Aunt Lois. Hang in there

Dan was one of our regulars here at D&W Salvage. He would show up almost daily and we were always amazed at how on earth he managed to stack all of his scrap metal so artfully in the back of his truck. For using only a pickup, he would manage to bring in quite heavy loads--it was all due to the way he stacked and packed things in the load. Many times he was quiet, but when he was in a chatty mood, he would tell us about the latest treasures he had discovered, how things are going at work, the fun he had at a friends New Years party (sounds like that party was one heck of a bash), and the little projects that he was helping family and friends work on. Dan was a pleasure to deal with and he will be missed by all of us here at D&W Salvage.

Dan would pick through treasures til he found something that he thought someone could use. Then he would go out of his way to make sure he gave his findings to them. Dan had a huge heart and cared about a lot of friends.
He was a hard worker and did a great job on what was asked of him.
He will be truly missed!!! Rest In Peace Dan!!! (Aka...Margaret)

He was a close friend to my husband Dean and I in Oklahoma. He brought me many items at the school I worked at as a teacher. . He became a member of our family sharing holidays with us. Helped us cut wood, built a fence and lots of other jobs. He loved going to powwows and eating indian tacos. Just a few weeks ago told us he was moving back. We are going to miss his calls. Prayers for his aunt mary and rest of family.

Danny was a neighbor growing up. We worked together at the grocery store around 1979. He was always on the go and had an impressive work ethic for someone so young. My condolences to his family. May he find rest and peace in God's loving arms.

Very, very sorry to read this. He brought my husband and I a package of his venison every time he's seen us for the past 3 or 4 years. We enjoyed being with him at the concerts in Cass City. He was an ultimate scrapper and just a nice guy. RIP Danny. We will miss you.
