Obituary of Carole E. Thomas

Carole E. Thomas Bay City Michigan Mrs. Thomas, age 77, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2020 at Avista Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Trenton, Michigan on September 17, 1942. Carole married Myrel G. Thomas on September 17, 1960 on her 18th birthday at Wisner united Methodist Church. She was widowed after 53 happy years of marriage. They built a wonderful life together enjoying everything life has to offer. Carole was a Registered Nurse and received her Bachelor of Science at Saginaw Valley State University. She continued her education, received her Administrators License, and worked at various nursing facilities throughout Michigan until she retired. Carole enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the piano for church and her family, reading books, her pets and hunting and fishing. Surviving are her children, Brian Thomas and Locki (Nathan) Sharp; grandchildren, Eliana, Reece, Seth, Travis (Buddy); great-grandson, Skyler; a brother-in-law, Peter (Arlene) Thomas; a sister-in-law, Nancy Messer; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Smith Park, Essexville Michigan.
