Diane (Secquer) Cook

Obituary of Diane Lee (Secquer) Cook

Diane Lee Cook (Secquer) was born in Flint on September 30, 1954 to Yuneice & Frederick Secquer. She had 5 sisters, Shirley, Debra (Gerald), Tracy, Kelly (Gene) & Karrin (Mike . Although she had no children of her own, she enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. Diane was known as a loving aunt, loving wife, a wonderful friend and an amazing cook. Diane married her husband Mike Cook on July 28, 1973. Afterwards, her interest in what the Bbible had to say was sparked. After her personal study of the Bible, she and her husband, on April 16, 1977, dedicated their lives to their God, Jehovah. She enjoyed sharing her findings of what the Bible says with those that she made contact with. Diane had a positive hope of the resurrection here on earth where she would be able to see her loved ones that preceded her in death, her parents, her sister Debra, her sister Shirley as well as many friends that all have the promise shown in Acts 24:15: "I have a hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection." After battling many chronic illnesses throughout the years, Diane fell asleep in death on July 15, 2020. A Memorial Service for Diane will be held via Zoom.
