Obituary of Stephen "Steve" Andrew Crane

Stephen (Steve) Andrew Crane passed away suddenly, on Friday, September 11, 2020 in his home in Midland, Michigan at the age of 54. Steve was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 13, 1965 to the late Michael and Barbara Crane. Steve graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Ferris State University and a Master's Degree from Saginaw Valley State University. He worked at the Dow Corning Corporation for many years. Steve is survived by his spouse, Marie Crane; stepdaughters, Alyssa and Amanda Jones; sons, Andrew (Nikki) and Nicholas Crane; brother, Michael Crane Jr.; sister, Melissa (Tobin) Schisler; niece, Alexandra (Blaine) Strand; nephews, Joshua (Megan) Cole, Zachary (Sarah) Flora, and Jesse (Kayla) Crane; many grea- nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Flora. Steve was well known for his bright smile and big laugh. Steve loved spending time with his family and friends along with rooting for Notre Dame Football. Steve's wishes were to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered on his family's farm.
