I will remember Bob as a mild mannered, good humored, sports loving, card playing, cribbage pegging, hard working, honest gentleman, and on top of that, a good friend since high school days. He would give people the benefit of the doubt even if it didn't appear they should get it. It was always a memorable time when the quatro amigos, Bob, Bernie, Benny and I would head up to the lake to put the dock in or out. I would loan my old leaky pair of waders to him every year and his feet and pants would be soaked to his thighs; but he never complained. I will also miss his inspirational attitude as he battled and struggled with the progression of that terrible disease. It was his character and personality to take things in stride with calmness. Thank you, Bob, for some valuable life lessons.

I was sweeping the floor in our offices and Bob saw me with a broom in my hand and he said "I see you have your ride home". He was always good for a laugh and he was a very caring man. We miss your visits. Rest In Peace Bob. Russ and Debbie Fuller

I had the pleasure of taking care of Bob when he had services through Heartland Homecare. We connected because of my Dad having had the same disease as Bob. Bob was a sweet and caring. He always had a smile. Mary was always there when we had a auestion or anything concerning Bob. RIP BOB.

My husband and I cared for Bob at Riverside, he was always such a great person to us. No matter how he was feeling or if he was having a bad day, he still thanked us. He always had to watch his games on TV and always had things to talk to us about. It broke our hearts when he finally had to leave us at Riverside. Mary was always there for him and us every time we called. He always talked about her and Pat, his care giver. He was so full of life. He loved going outside for his walks, no matter how well his legs were that day. He will be missed dearly by us and many others. God bless his family

Kathi and I got to know Bob years ago, early in the Gears' years. We traveled to Toronto with Bob and his girlfriend at the time; and were thrilled when Bob pulled into our driveway in his huge Buicks. He will be missed.
