Obituary of Rudolph Torres

Rudolph Torres passed away suddenly at his home, Friday, October 9, 2020. He was born May 3, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant Michigan to the late Faustino and Sarah Torres. Rudy enjoyed watching game shows, old Westerns, and sharing meals with his friends. A lifelong Jehovah's Witness, he was an avid student of the Bible and enjoyed sharing what he learned with others. During the COVID pandemic, he continued to meet regularly with his congregation through tele-conferencing. He is survived by his sisters, Lucy Bliss of Midland MI, Margaret Smith of Bay City MI, Josephine Church of Essexville MI; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and longtime friends, Patty, Joey, Christa, and Joshua. He was predeceased by his sisters, Ann Tucker and Sarah Rose; brothers, Peter and Tino Torres; niece, Tammy Rashotte; and nephew Eric Finney. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service is being planned for October 25, 2020 and will be held via ZOOM.
