Obituary of Larry L. Kelly

Larry L. Kelly, age 70 of Bad Axe, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2020 at home. He was born on June 22, 1950 in Pigeon to the late Frank J. and the late Pauline A. (Baur) Kelly. He graduated from Laker High School in 1968 and attended Ferris State College, earning an Associate's Degree. After college, he married Kathy E. O'Berski on September 20, 1975. Larry was employed for many years as a Tool & Die Journeyman, and at the time of his death was employed at Huron Castings. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and boating and camping with his wife and many friends at Beadle Bay Campground and Marina. He was generous with his time and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy E Kelly of Bad Axe; his brothers, Kurt (Mary) Kelly of Sebewaing, Wayne Kelly of Bay Port, and Ted Kelly of Sebewaing; sister-in-law, Diana (Ron) Adrianse of Oscoda; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Chris) O'Berski of Ubly; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many good friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Gail Kelly; mother-in-law, Bernice J. O'Berski; father-in-law, Elmer M. O'Berski; brothers-in-law, Dennis E. (Anita) O'Berski, Garret C. O'Berski, and Sgt. Richard A. Nelson. In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated and a private family and friend memorial gathering will take place at a later date.
