Don, age 83, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. He was born April 1, 1937 in Springfield Missouri to Joseph and Edna Smith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children, Patricia Mahoney of Saginaw Township, James Smith of Saginaw Michigan; a brother, Raymond of Kentucky; and many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Carole in 2002, and two daughters, Linda Smith in November 2014 and Kathy in May 2017. No service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Bridgeport Fire and Rescue Department, Bridgeport, Michigan.
