Smith Jr., Donald Joseph West Branch, MI 48661 Donald Joseph Smith, Jr. “Junior, passed away December 4, 2020 due to complications with COVID and his heart. Junior was 68 years old. Junior was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was active with AuSable Valley. Junior enjoyed riding around, watching television, and reading magazines. Junior is survived by his brother, Lyle (Irene) Smith of West Branch; nephew, Scott (Heather) Smith of Flat Rock, Michigan; and great-nephews, Madison and Skylar. Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Olith (Schmitt) Smith and his brothers, Randy and David. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
