James passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 79. He was born in Flint on October 4, 1941 to the late Harvey and Elizabeth (Knight) Moody. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
James is survived by 3 children, Dawn (Kevin) Kibbe, Dennis (Tracy) Moody, and James (Lyndsey) Harr. Also surviving are, 4 grandchildren, Amy (Chad) Arnold, James (Jenny) Schmitzer, Matthew Moody and Emily Moody; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Mike Moody and Robert (Jean) Bortner; and one sister, Mona (Harry) Smith. He was predeceased by siblings Harvey, Leonard, Dorothy, and Sandra. Cremation has taken place per his wishes. A private service will be held at later date.
