Daniel “Dan/Danny/OO” Dwyer, age 76, passed away December 11, 2020. He was born in Flint, MI, on March 1, 1944, to the late John “Jack” and Joan (Daly) Dwyer. He retired from Bay City Chevrolet with 32 years of service. He loved to ride his Harley, hunt, trap shoot, and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed taking is dog, Lucky, for rides, growing grapes, making wine and numerous other recreational activities.
He was known by all as a hard-working, fun-loving, kind man who was welcoming to friends new and old. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, including participating in benefit rides, 10+ years with Big Brothers and donating his long hair to Locks for Love and Wigs for Kids.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Dwyer of Pinconning, MI. 4 sons: John Dwyer of Bay City, Danny Dwyer, Paul Dwyer of Pinconning, and Brian (Selena) Goda of Byron Center, MI. Grandchildren Chris, Samantha, Cassandra, Brian Jr., Sierra, Destiny, and Joe. Also, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and an immeasurable number of friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, John Dwyer, and sisters, Nancy Duyck & Joan K Griffin.
A 3-day wake and memorial ride will be held in the Spring of 2021 at Dan & Diane’s home.
