Obituary of Daniel Eugene Ort

Daniel Eugene Ort August 2, 1962 - December 7, 2020 It is with great sadness that I announce my husband and best friend has passed into the loving arms of our Lord on December 7, 2020. Daniel was born August 2, 1962 in Valdosta Georgia. Growing up in a military family, Dan lived in different areas of the country. He loved geography and the many wide-open spaces of the country, and found a career in interstate trucking. He was an intelligent and thoughtful man who loved spending time with family and his dogs. He enjoyed drawing, sports and especially U of M football. Continuing to love him and honor his life are his survivors, his wife, Anne Ort, parents Lloyd and Kathy Ort; sister, Teresa (Scot) Osieczanek; brothers, Don (Wendy) Ort and Steven (Nicole) Ort; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved so much. No services are planned at this time, however, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Memorial Contributions to McLaren Hospice Foundation.
