Obituary of Edward Earl Canter Jr.

Canter Jr, Edward Earl Bridgeport Twp. Michigan Edward Earl, age 79, passed away on Tuesday December 22, 2020. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Edward Earl and Gladys Irene (Macomber) Canter. He was a member of the Bridgeport Big Boy Cruise in car club, a lifetime member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association and a member of St. Lorenz Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth. He enjoyed riding his golf cart around the yard with his dog Buddy. He is survived by wife Katrina (Kathy) Canter, children: Dawn Canter of Jacksonville FL., Teresa (Butch) Hatley of Lewiston, MI, Wendy Hufford of Jefferson, GA. Edward Canter III of Arcadia, FL, Jason (Christina) Jackson of Saginaw, MI, Alan Jackson of Howell, MI, Shannon Surber of Saginaw, MI, Kathy Hawn of Owosso, MI. Also surviving are grandchildren; Tifany, Justin, Cassie, Carina, Destiney, Ambrosia, Tobi, Nick, Shelby, Angel, Phillip, Karilynn, Christopher, Michael, and Matthew, great grandchildren; Hanah, Chase, Melodey, Nathanial, Emma-Leah, Rylan, and Knox, his siblings; Nancy (Dan) Anderson, Mary Fetters, David (Linda) Canter, Marilyn (Eugene) Mayse, Jenny (Bob) Thompson, Julie (Kip) Leonard, Neil Schneider, Linda Sheppard, Russell Schneider, Beverly Simms and Earl Schneider, and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon, and grandson Caleb Hufford. No services are planned at this time. His wishes were to be cremated. We will have a life celebration later in the year. In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church Media program or the family to help with expenses.
