Obituary of Frances Eileen Baker

Frances Eileen “Frankie” Baker, age 79, of Hope, Michigan passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 following a short illness. She was born January 12, 1941, the tenth child of a family of 11 to the late Perry and Goldie Long. Frankie loved gardening, painting, birdwatching, playing music, and singing. She was a loving wife and mother who, more than anything, loved the company of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stanley Baker, her children, Vickie, Julie, Jody and Bud; 7 grandchildren; and 4.5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers. Due to the pandemic and the family’s concern for the well-being of loved ones, a Memorial Service is planned for the Spring of 2021, to be held at the homestead property in Hope, Michigan.
