Obituary of Harold H. Lindsey, Sr.

Harold H Lindsey Sr. of Rodney Michigan, was born October 23, 1942 to Guy and Ruby Lindsey, and passed away Friday, January 15 2021 at his home. He fought a valiant fight with cancer for several years. He was surrounded by many of his loved ones including his brother and sister-in-law, all of his children, some grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sons-in-law, and daughters-in-law. Harold served in the National Guard, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, going to the Casino and spending time with his family. He is survived by his brother, Carl (Becky) Lindsey and his sister, Eva Lindsey “Sis”; his 7 children; Harold (Selena) Lindsey Jr. of Gladwin, Shirley (Dick) Heilman of Campton KY, Karen Lindsey of Remus, Linda (Jim) Root of Rodney, Penny (David) Cain of Big Rapids, Ilean (Kevin Crisp) Heydel of Rodney, and Allen (Kelly) Lindsey of Mecosta; several nieces and nephews; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Shirley Jean and Mary Arseneth; his loving wife of 44 years, Dorothy Jean; grandchildren, Brandon Lindsey, Brandon Sir Lawrance Jackson, Kelli Jean Jackson; and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Lynn Flachs.
