Obituary of Tom Lester Staley

Staley, Tom L. Bay City, Michigan Formerly of Pinconning, Michigan Tom, age 79, loving husband, father, grandfather (papa) and brother passed away peacefully on January 18, 2021. He was born on April 5, 1941 in Mason, Michigan to the late Chester Staley and Anna Pauline Allison. He married the love of his life, best friend and soulmate on May 10, 2001 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He retired from the State of Michigan as a tax auditor after 30+ years of service. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and watching their activities and sports. He LOVED his Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Tigers, whether he was watching on TV or listening on the radio. He enjoyed managing the Nationals Golf League at Green Hills Golf Course on Monday nights. He honorably served in the United States Air Force. Surviving besides his wife Susan of 19 years, is his son Keith, granddaughter Samantha and her 3 children, two sisters; Marilyn Mohler and Yvonne Turner, one brother William Staley, several nieces and nephews, three step sons; Christopher, his three children-Taylor, Peyton and Harper Lisee, Marc (Mark) Lisee, Charles Lisee. He was predeceased by his infant son and siblings; Jon, Ruth and Charles. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
