Willard James "School" Brown transitioned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Willard James was born on October 19, 1943 in Peno, Oklahoma to the late Willie and Pearline Barbee. His witty remarks and great sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories his 5 children, Troy Collins Jr, Lamarr Byther, Ghandi George-Brown, Desmond Frazier, Laura Lenoir. Also surviving, are 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; his beloved sister, Rita (JT) Truss; and one god-daughter, Kendra Broadnax. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Marion and Portia Brown; two brothers, Willie and Willmo Barbee; special great-aunt and family matriarch, Dorothy Bettis; and his grandson, Gage George. Special thanks to the staff of Great Lakes PACE, Community Village Assisted Living Facility, and Wellsprings Lutheran Services of Frankenmuth for their love and support. No service is planned.
