Mr. Becker passed away on February 26, 2021 at the age of 89. He was born on May 1, 1931 to the late Harley S. and Lucile Becker in Albion, Michigan.
He spent his working career of 32 years with the Michigan State Department of Transportation. He worked in multiple areas over his career including land survey, inspection and interface with county and railroad authorities. In addition, he was active in the United Technical Employees Association (UTEA) for 10 years as Secretary of his local and state Chapters. Floyd also served a term as President. He enjoyed traveling, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his oldest 4 children, Roger Becker (Jan), Karen Jones (Tom), Diane Reglin (Steve) and Bruce Becker (Lisa). Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Jason (Sara) Becker, Andrew Becker, Heather (Joe) Trusner, Thomas (Jamin) Jones, Todd (Valerie) Jones and Travis (Keli) Reglin; and 9 great grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, Evelyn, Autumn, Lillian, Willow, Maddie, Josie and Jeffrey. He was predeceased by his wife Beverly of 67 years; daughter, Penny Becker; and son, Jeffrey Becker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Vermontville Bible Church, 250 N. Main Street, Vermontville, MI. Major Gene Anderson will officiate with a Committal service and interment following at 1PM, in Windsor Township Cemetery in Dimondale Michigan.
