Obituary of Thomas Lynn Nicol

Thomas “Tom” Lynn Nicol, 64, of Caro (formerly of Deford) passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Avista Nursing & Rehab in Saginaw after a lengthy illness. Thomas was born on January 7, 1957 in Caro, Michigan to the late Roy Dean and Marjorie Marie Nicol. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, and helping others when he was able. Tom was especially proud of the work he did at Sanilac Rescue Mission, where he assisted with community events and food drives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thomas is survived by his siblings, Cheryl (Robert) Echlin of Cass City, Ken (Sandy) Nicol of Kingston, Beth Hoist of Carsonville, James (Jeanne) Nicol of Cass City, and Brian (Alissa) Nicol of Yale; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Nicol; sister, Susan Bursick; and brother, Richard Nicol. A private family service will be held at a later date.
