Obituary of Jay Allen McIntosh

McIntosh, Jay A. Bay City, MI Jay A. McIntosh, age 84, a beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was born January 21, 1937 in Bad Axe Michigan to the late Marian Lucille (Steadman) and Ira Orange McIntosh. Jay enjoyed going to the casinos, playing Bingo and cards, and putting puzzles together. In his younger days he loved driving motorcycles, fishing, bowling, camping, and archery. He is survived by his son, Mark (Shelli); daughter, Bonnie (Bob); granddaughters, Hannah Hayes, Becky (Marcus), and Rachel (Aaron); great-grandson, Griffin; brother, Dale (Beverly); niece, Stacy; and nephews, Adam and Brian. He was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Marie (Edgette); brother, Ira (Peggy); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Plainview Assisted Living for their care and compassion. Honoring Jay’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date due to COVID 19 concerns.
