Obituary of Delores May Ludwig

Delores M. Ludwig passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Pelton and Susana Hulsey. Preceding her in death are her sister Rose DeSimpelaere and brothers Richard (Dick) and Joseph (Joey) Hulsey. Delores worked at the Bay County Care Facility as a CNA. Delores also served her community as a City Commissioner a service she thoroughly enjoyed. Delores was a lifelong member of the Democratic party. Delores was a founding member of In His Presence Ministries Church of Bay City. She really enjoyed and loved watching the Detroit Tigers, fishing, traveling and cracking jokes. Delores is survived by her brothers, Marshall (Mark) DeSimpelaere, Oscar DeSimpelaere, Larry Pelton, and Clarence (Bill) Pelton. Her daughter Judy Hornsby with 5 children and 11 grandchildren; son, Joseph (Joe) Ludwig with 5 children and 23 grandchildren; and William (Bill) Balogh with 2 children. Funeral and Committal services will take and be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at In His Presence Ministries Church of Bay City. Officiating will be Pastor Mike of In His Presence Ministries Church and a private interment will follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery.
