Nancy Keel

Obituary of Nancy Josephine Keel

Nancy Keel, age 85, passed peacefully into the arms of angels who carried her into glory on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from her home in Sun City West, AZ. Nancy Josephine was born on December 17, 1935 to the late Russell and Olive (Dault) Cornack. Nancy retired from General Motors as an administrative assistant after many years of service. Nancy loved to play golf and was active on several golf leagues in MI and AZ. Nancy was active in her Palm West Community Church in AZ. and in The House of Faith in Tawas, MI. that she & husband Dale were instrumental in starting. In August of 1992 God brought a foreign exchange student from Brazil into their lives. The 10 months Ticiana was with Nancy & Dale was such a blessing as they had no children of their own. The union was perfect and the following year they visited Brazil. Since then, a year has not gone by without one family or the other crossing the ocean to spend special holidays together. Ticiana and her husband, Eduardo and children Joao Eduardo and Sarah Brigido have formed a bond as strong as any biological family. Nancy was thrilled to call them her children and grandchildren. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Dale; brother, Russell of FL; several nieces; a nephew; close friend, Sally Bettesworth of Sun City West, AZ; and her Brigido family of Fortaleza, Brazil. No service is planned at this time. Interment of her cremains will take place at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, in Phoenix, AZ.
