Obituary of Terry Lee Henkel
Terry Lee Henkel, age 73, passed away April 4, 2021 at home on Easter Sunday with his wife and son at his side. He was born in Saginaw Michigan on December 2, 1947 to the late Fred and Genevieve Henkel.
He loved his “Harley” and his garage where, for many years, he restored old cars for himself, family, and friends. He would lend anyone a hand if they needed it. Terry realized later in life just how much his family meant to him. He told his wife they could make new memories together, but sadly, that wasn’t meant to be, as he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a little over a year ago. He fought so hard, never gave up, and at the end, it was his body, not his spirit, that couldn’t go on.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol and his son Terry Jr.. He was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Ballard and Mary Reid.
Sweet dreams my “Terry Bear”. I love you and I’m still holding your hand, and won’t ever let go. Forever your “Sweetie Pie”, Carol. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com Arrangements made with Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
