Obituary of Paul Sidney Wright

Paul Sidney Wright, 73 years old, resident of West Branch most of his life. He was born December 19, 1947 in Aberdeen, WA. He attended and graduated from West Branch High School; marrying his high school sweetheart, Verna May Oakes on July 15, 1966. Paul was well known as a kind and generous person who was always a willing volunteer to anyone that needed assistance. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed many hobbies during his life including gardening, photography, travel, cooking, fishing and hunting to mention a few. Paul fell asleep in death peacefully in his home on Monday, April 19, 2021 surrounded by his family. Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Verna; his children Alan(Pam)of West Branch, Shayla(Scott) Polom of West Branch, Tony(Tanya) of Bay City; his grandchildren Sonja (Aaron) McGinnis, Sean Polom, Joshua and Jonathan Wright, Paityn, Ceirra and Brooklyn Wright; his great grandson, Desmond McGinnis; and his sister, Joyce (Allan) Wiltse. He is predeceased by his son, Jamin; and his siblings, Clarence, Ardith and Leona. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned on a virtual platform.
