Obituary of Alexander Paul Lackowski

Alexander Paul Lackowski, from Bad Axe Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2021. Alexander was born on May 20, 1939 in Paris Township, the youngest son of Alexander Paul Lackowski and Regina Wojtalewicz Lackowski. He was a member of St. Hubert Catholic Church in Bad Axe, an honored member of the local Knights of Columbus, and member of the Ubly Fox Hunters Club. Alexander enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and was an active social member of his senior citizen groups. Although Alexander never married or had children, he was loved by all those surrounding him. He was fondly called Grandpa by many, a mentor by others, and most of all, a sincere friend to those who knew him. Alexander is survived by his brother, Marshall (Mary Ann) Lackowski; sister-in-law Betty Jean Lackowski, brother-in-law, Al Lopez; and 23 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Regina; sister, Jeanette (Lopez); brothers, Clarence, William (Lorraine). A memorial service will be held at a future date, and will be announced at that time.
